To reach the Department of Guided City Tours:
We have great pleasure in presenting a city whose medieval heart has been so extensively and authentically preserved. To experience Erfurt’s historical atmosphere to the full, stout footwear is recommended for the guided tours, e.g. to the underground passageways at Petersberg Citadel. Pets are not allowed on the Erfurt Tour or the Old Quarter Tour.
Erfurt Tourist Office offers a regular and wide-ranging programme of public guided tours. For groups, we can also organise tours all year round to take special account of any particular requirements you might have. You decide if it is convenient for you to join a public guided tour or if you prefer a guided group tour and give us prior notice for tours that need to be specially organised for you.

Public guided tours
Dates and times of public guided tours do vary depending on the time of year, as indicated in the price leaflet. The prices quoted are per person. Concessions are available for children from the age of 6, schoolchildren and students.Public guided tours are only available in German.
Guided group tours
We can organise guided tours for families, clubs, companies and tour groups on a day and at a time to suit you.Number of participants:
Any - groups are limited to 35 per guide.
Extra tour guides must be booked for larger groups.
Meeting point:
Various, e.g. coach park on Domplatz if arriving by coach, or tourist information office, town hall portal, your hotel (town centre hotels only).
Duration:
approx. 2 hours (unless otherwise indicated)
Prices:
Prices quoted per guided tour group (35 persons max) and do vary, as individually indicated.
