The Imperial Hall, probably the oldest convention centre in Germany, is situated right in the heart of Erfurt`s old quarter. Its main historical hall has two galleries and can accommodate up to 700 delegates. Seven light, airy reception rooms, a bar and the gardens provide an unusual setting for supporting events, exhibitions or breaks. The quality in-house catering service is headed by top Thuringian chef Claus Alboth, whose on-site restaurant regularly receives excellent ratings in leading gourmet guides. Trade fairs, conferences or other events - this flexible location provides plenty of scope and a wide range of of options for any occasion or requirement, with energy-saving daylight architecture and multi-functional facilities as standard, along with a compact layout and a pleasant allround atmosphere. The 46,670 square metres of exhibition space encompass two halls, an outdoor area, a multi-purpose hall and the CongressCenter. There are also 3,800 parking spaces. The foyer of the CongressCenter leads to sevenfunction rooms which can be subdivided, as well as a glass lift that takes visitors to the panorama hall on the third floor. This floor also has a kitchen for catering use. The Carl Zeiss Hall provides up to 726 seats and can be divided at shirt notice. On all floors, the foyers create a light and open ambience and offer space for exhibitions and services. The CongressCenter can accommodate conferences of up to 1,600 people, with the multi-purpose hall providing another 5,172 seats when used as a conference hall.
