Our family-run campsite is located directly on the outskirts of Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia, and offers village peace and quiet as well as the immediate vicinity of the city, with all its cultural offerings.
Spacious pitches for caravans, campers and tents, modern, barrier-free sanitary facilities, a bathroom suitable for the disabled, friendly service - you will enjoy your stay with us.
The sights like the Merchants’ Bridge (Krämerbrücke), St. Mary’s Cathedral and St. Severus Church, the Old Synagogue, Petersberg Citadel, the Thuringian Zoo, countless shopping opportunities, the open-air and indoor swimming pools, cinemas, theatres and much more invite you to visit the city.
The Merchants’ Bridge Festival, Pottery Market, the Cathedral Steps Festival and the Christmas Market with its many stalls and huts throughout the city centre are just a few of the events you can easily reach by bicycle or public transport.
Due to our location in the middle of Thuringia we are the ideal starting point for your excursions into the beautiful surrounding area to visit e.g. the Wartburg Castle, the Leuchtenburg Castle, Friedenstein Castle or the Thuringian Forest.
Your four-legged companions are also welcome, we are a dog-friendly campsite with dog shower and possibilities for long walks.
Our disposal station for campers is available for guests free of charge, against a small fee this can be used, however, also by all other campers.
