egapark Erfurt

BUGA at the egapark – garden design as an all-round experience

A former convent and later a citadel, which became the venue for the first international horticultural exhibition in 1961 – the area now known as egapark has had an eventful history. During BUGA Erfurt 2021, the heritage-listed 36 hectare site will serve as the largest exhibition space. The general tour covers the visitor centre and the German Horticultural Museum, along with a wide range of themed gardens, flower shows, Europe’s largest ornamental flowerbed and much more besides.

Once you have purchased a BUGA admission ticket you can take the guided tours listed below. Public guided BUGA tours are in German and do not include any interior viewings.
