"Zum Güldenen Krönbacken" Arts Centre - Waidspeicher Gallery and Krönbacken House

The first stone buildings on the site of today's Kulturhof were probably erected around 1200. Located in the oldest part of the old town, the building has witnessed many eras of the city's history. Today, the more than 500-year-old woad store in the inner courtyard serves primarily as a venue for exhibitions of contemporary art. In summer, the patrician house on the street is also used for this purpose. Concerts, film screenings, and theater projects take place in the courtyard during the summer months. An adjacent beer garden and event catering in the courtyard provide refreshments.
