Legal Terms for Organised Tours or Thuringia Tours
The Erfurt Tourism & Marketing GmbH provides guides to interested groups. The contractual parties of a guided tour include the ordering party on one side and Erfurt Tourism & Marketing GmbH on the other side. With the reservation the ordering party acknowledges and accepts the terms and booking conditions of Erfurt Tourism & Marketing GmbH.
Maximum group size:
The maximum group size is 50 participants per guide. More guides should be booked accordingly for larger groups.
Payment method:
The payment for the service shall be made in cash to the guide. Vouchers are accepted. Invoices are issued upon request. The price shall include the statutory value-added tax.
Waiting time/Cancellation fee:
The participant(s) shall not be entitled to full service upon late arrival. In case of delay in arrival, we request you to duly inform the city guide on the mobile number (provided in the order confirmation). The waiting time of the city guide shall be 1 hour. Should the group arrive more than 30 minutes later than agreed, the guide can ask for a waiting fee of € 10.00 or appropriately shorten the guided tour. In case of delay of more than 60 minutes the tour shall be considered cancelled; payment of cancellation fees of 90 % of the total amount shall have to be made.
Deadline and charges for cancellation:
The following lump-sum shall be applicable for withdrawal (from the agreement):
- up to 8 days before appointed date: no charge;
- from 7 days before commencement of services: € 25.00 per group
- from 2 days before commencement of services: 80 % of the total amount
