The Nordpark
Erfurt's 9-hectare Nordpark is the city's largest public parkland. Its main attractions include spacious open meadows, the adjacent Nordbad outdoor pool and a series of marked trails along the River Gera leading all the way to the city centre in one direction, and out towards the city's northern districts in the other.
The Nordpark is located directly behind Erfurt's clinical centre and can be reached in two ways: via Nordhäuser Strasse (tram no. 3 or 6 - Baumerstrasse stop) or via Magdeburger Allee (tram no. 1 or 5 - Lutherkirche/ SWE stop).
