Fête de la musique
Every year on June 21 music lovers of all styles gather to attend the free concerts by amateur and professional musicians now in 340 cities worldwide. The festival which was first held in 1982 in Paris came to Erfurt in 2010 and has been extremely popular since. Musicians and bands of different styles and genres make an appearance in many theatres and stages and perform their music.
