Park at the former combined heat and power plant
The park at the former combined heat and power plant is located between the Geraaue and Kilianipark and thus forms the penultimate section of the green park strip between Erfurt city centre and Gispersleben.
The area was redesigned in the course of the Federal Horticultural Show 2021 into a hilly meadow landscape with an abundance of playgrounds for young and old.
In addition to the usual playground elements, barrier-free elements have been installed at various corners here, which are available to all children without exception. Furthermore, adults also have the opportunity to let off steam in the outdoor fitness course. Those who prefer to use the facility for recreation are also welcome to do so.
