Haus zum Sonneborn
Not much is known about the history of the Sonneborn house. It is presumed that it was once used as a woad storehouse, and the two holes in the wall next to the entrance indicate that it was used as a brewery. Since 1988, after extensive restoration, this building has been used as a wedding house and registry office. The magnificent portal and parts of the half-timbered structure were preserved during reconstruction.
Today, this building is used as a wedding house and registry office. The magnificent portal and a planked parlor with Renaissance paintings inside as well as parts of the half-timbered structure were preserved during reconstructions.
