City Park

Already the imposing staircase impresses visitors of the city park at the northern entrance. Already laid out at the beginning of the 20th century, many dendrological treasures can still be seen today, such as Amur cork trees and a mulberry tree with a trunk circumference of two metres.

In addition, the city park offers playgrounds for children and plenty of space to relax, for example the area around the Sorgebrunnen fountain in the southern part of the park.

The Stadtpark is located directly to the south behind the main railway station. After crossing the Flutgraben, the park begins via a small flight of steps.
