Kultur: Haus Dacheröden

Caroline von Dacheröden and Wilhelm von Humboldt were married in this magnificent Renaissance house. Friends with the Dacheröden family: Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who was a frequent guest here.

The Kultur: Haus Dacheröden is a special place for the dialogue of cultures, cultural encounters, education and communication - an integrative and interdisciplinary space of knowledge and experience for all visitors and residents of the city.

Since 2017, the literary association "Erfurter Herbstlese" has been running the magnificent Renaissance house. Readings, concerts, exhibitions, lectures, and workshops take place year-round in the historic rooms. Located in the heart of the old town, the historic building offers the best conditions for events of a special kind. The halls and salons can also be rented and individually adapted to the desired event character.

From May to September, the summer stage in the courtyard of the Kultur: Haus Dacheröden is played.
