Erfurt Tourism and Marketing Board
Erfurt Tourism and Marketing Board was established in 1997 as the official body responsible for promoting tourism in Thuringia's capital, Erfurt, and began its operations on 1 January 1998.
Main objectives:
- To promote tourism in Erfurt, an important tool in the economic and urban development of the regional capital
- To position the city of Erfurt on the German and international tourism market as a dynamic and welcoming regional capital, an attractive city-break destination and a location for conferences
- To further tailor the range of tourist services to the needs of independent travellers and the tourism industry as a whole
- To conduct marketing activities on behalf of the city
