Kunsthalle Erfurt (Art Gallery)

The Kunsthalle Erfurt is located in the middle of the historic old town of the city, directly opposite the townhall. The facade from this patrician house significantly shapes the character of the square. Changing exhibitions with national and international contemporary art are shown regulary. Guided tours and lectures offer the opportunity to deal with modern art in terms of aesthetics and content.

General parking areas are available in the public traffic area. 
The surface condition of the parking lot and exterior paths is not easy to walk or drive on. The distance from the streetcar stop Fischmarkt - lines 3/4/5 to the entrance is 20 meters.
The entrance is accessible without steps and is visually contrasting. 
All rooms usable and elevated for the guest are accessible at ground level, via a ramp or via the elevator.
The elevator car is 150 cm x 170 cm (width x depth). In the elevator, the confirmation of the emergency call is visual and audible.
All passages/doors are at least 90 cm wide.
The height of the ticket counter is 75 cm at the lowest point.
There is an alarm. The alarm is visually clearly perceptible throughout the building/object.
There is no inductive hearing system.
The exhibits in the showrooms are generally well lit. Exhibit information is visually contrasting and in legible print. 
Glass doors are marked with security markings. There are no revolving or rotating doors.
All raised areas usable by guests are well lit, i.e., bright and glare-free.
All stair treads have visually contrasting markings.
Walkways in corridors / paths / aisles are visually contrasting with the surrounding area throughout.
The Kunsthalle name and logo are clearly visible from the outside.

A unisex restroom is provided.
