The Petersberg Moonshiner will regale you with funny and entertaining stories around cathedral square and Petersberg Citadel spanning some 600 years – from the Benedictine Monks and Emperor Barbarossa to Napoleon’s troops and the Prussians. Don’t be afraid to ask any questions!
The beautiful view of the old quarter and cathedral hill, the bastion squares and the citadel gardens provide the backdrop for this fun and informative tour, which has its own unique appeal, day or night, in summer or winter. And when Brother Gerhard invites you for a tipple in the distillery, you will certainly get a taste of the local history!
