Thuringian satirical theater and cabaret DIE ARCHE e.V
The cabaret “Die Arche” was founded in 1979. Since the mid-90s the holder has been the “Thüringer Satiretheater und Kabarett DIE ARCHE e.V.”. It offers humorous satire programs, most of which are written by their own (permanent) ensemble, but in which there is also space for texts by authors elsewhere. The pieces are mostly accompanied by music. From 2000, Harald Richter and Fernando Blumenthal took turns directing. Every year the cabaret plays around 280 performances with 2-3 new productions, so that there are constantly 8-10 changing pieces on the program.
